Every year, our company invests heavily in establishing new workplaces, machines and keeping our equipment up to date. One major investment in 2022 was the acquisition of a new jetting machine from STEM as part of our energy savings subsidy project. This new machine replaces two very old blasting machines, thus saving energy and increasing our production capacity. The machine can blast various shaped forgings as well as tubes and sheets that we need for our bumper production. A suspension track with automatic balancers from KONECRANES & DEMAG was chosen for handling the material. The value of this entire investment was more than CZK 11 million.
Also in 2022, we purchased a new PENTA CT 810 CNC die-sinking electro-discharge machine from PENTA TRADING for sparking deep shapes and marks into dies. Once again, our goal was the quality of performance, especially the acceleration of production times. It also allows us to offer some of the machine’s capacity to external customers. The value of the investment is CZK 2.5 million.
During the difficult year that was 2022, investments were also made in IT security, information systems, new software, etc. We also started to overhaul our forklift fleet by switching to electric trucks with Lithium batteries from the HELI company, which also tracks and records movements, loads, collisions, etc. We are also investing considerable money into modernizing the roofs of the sub-assembly hall, including the installation of skylights.
